Lebanese vocalist, songwriter, and musician Wael Kfoury is celebrated across the Arab world as The King of Romance, renowned for his signature heartfelt ballads.
His breakthrough came during the 1992–1993 season of the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation’s hit show Studio el Fan, where he won Best Male Vocalist, securing a recording contract. His debut single, ‘Ma Wa'adtak bi Njoum el Leyl,’ quickly entered the Top Ten, followed by the successful duet ‘Meen Habeebi Ana’ with fellow winner Nawal Al Zoghbi.
He went on to release multiple albums with Musicbox and earned the title of ‘Best Male Singer’ at its equivalent of the Grammys. Before completing his mandatory military service, he released ‘Rayeh 'al Jeysh,’ a patriotic track that also became a hit.
